When it comes to getting the best bang for your buck in ammo, Federal ammunition delivers every time! Lake City loaded Federal XM193 cartridges, just like these, are used by the US Military around the globe. If it's good enough for our soldiers to use in combat, this ammo is definitely good enough for anything you might need it for.

Lake City ammunition is renowned in the ammunition industry for its quality control and consistency, with this load being one of the more common rounds they produce. This 420-round ammo-can is full of first-run XM193 5.56 cartridges on stripper clips that were manufactured at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant for Federal Cartridge. They were made made to Federal specifications for commercial use.

Each cartridge is head-stamped with the manufacturer's symbol and year of production. To meet Federal's standards, rounds must have an accuracy of 3-10 round groups not to exceed 2" mean radius maximum average at 200 yards. 100% mechanical and/or electrical detection of propellant levels within the cartridge, and 100% visual inspection of finished cartridges prior to packaging.

The finished rounds consist of sealed primers, which is ideal for long term storage and moisture protection. This ammunition comes 10 rounds per stripper clip, with 3 stripper clips per cardboard sleeve and a total of 420 rounds inside a new from factory, M19A1 .30 cal ammo can.

Note: This item is manufactured in the Lake City Plant currently run by Federal ATK. The ammo is brand new, brass cased, boxer primed, non-corrosive and re-loadable. It is made to military specifications which require the cases to be annealed. Unlike civilian production ammo, the military requires to  see evidence of annealing on the round itself. This is why the cases will appear to be discolored. This is done on purpose in order to meet the military requirement for overall strength and durability of the finished round.
